“To promote the advancement of collegiates through diverse networking opportunities, enriching professional development workshops and empowering outreach activities.”

 

Our Chapter

We are the Santa Clara University Section of the Society of Women Engineers in Region A, the Golden West Region. Our focus is on building a strong community of students in our School of Engineering through social activities, advancing skillsets with professional development events, and inspiring the next generation of engineers by providing outreach volunteer opportunities. We currently have over 20 national members!

The Society of Women Engineers

The Society of Women Engineers has over 17,000 members in 300 student sections and over 100 professional sections throughout the nation and internationally. Founded in 1950, SWE provides its members with professional development resources, a career center, scholarships, outreach programs, and networking opportunities through conferences, online profiles, and magazine publications.
