I am a senior Civil Engineering Major and Environmental Studies Minor. I am originally from Omaha Nebraska. I am involved with various clubs on campus and really enjoy studying at Santa Clara Univiersity. Professionally I am looking to couple my engineering background with sustainable projects and excited to see what the future holds for me. Some of my hobbies include basically anything outdoors including skiing, running and hiking.
I am a junior Bioengineering major and Mathematics minor here at SCU. I am very excited to be treasurer for SWE this year as I think SWE is a great way to meet people from all engineering disciplines, and to develop personal skills for future careers and academics. In addition to being treasurer for SWE, I am president for my residence hall’s community council where we plan events for the community. When I am not studying, I enjoy kickboxing, soccer, board games, and crafting.
I am an Electrical Engineering major (2017) from Los Altos, California. I love how SWE is a professional club that provides networking opportunities for other female engineers to meet other female engineers. Also, I love how SWE provides mentorship in professional development through its guest speakers. I am involved in the School of Engineering Peer Advising Program, Audiosync (A Cappella), and CSA (Chinese Student Association). In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing the piano, swimming, making DIY crafts, and traveling.
I am currently a second year graduate student at the SCU School of Engineering. After receiving my undergraduate degree at UCSD in Biology, I came to SCU to do my masters in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Information Assurance. I am passionate about technology and the advancing role it plays in modern society! By being involved in SCU SWE, I hope to help further equality and diversity in the engineering industry. Some of my interests include running, hiking, yoga and spending time with my husky!
I am studying Computer Engineering (with a concentration in robotics), and minoring in Electrical Engineering. On campus, I’m involved with our SWE chapter, ACM (association for computing machinery), and honors program. I also work on campus as a web designer for our Ignatian Center. My favorite thing about SWE is the sisterhood aspect of the club. It’s great to know I have these ladies’ support and they have mine. When I’m not studying, I love yoga, journaling, reading, Interior Design and photography.
I am a junior bioengineering major with an emphasis in medical devices. SWE is an incredible organization, and I love the networking opportunities and personal development workshops that are available at Santa Clara and SWE conferences. I am looking forward to the One Step Ahead programs hosted by the SCU chapter in the winter and spring quarters, which encourage high school students to pursue engineering. When I’m not studying or planning events for SWE, I enjoy scrapbooking, walking around campus, watching HGTV, and playing video games.
